Mean drinks at the Player

The bartenders at the Player seem to have learned their craft from meths-swilling hobos. Don't get me wrong, they were mighty good, but so strong that getting up at stupid-o-clock the following day was no fun.

Old London vs New London?

Typical. You wait ages for a picture and then three come along at the same time! Taken from East Ferry Rd (?) towards Canary Wharf while running just before lunchtime today.

Island Gardens DLR

Strange-looking DLR station near the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs. Ran past there this morning and figured I might as well take a picture as I had my phone with me!

Early Morning in the Badlands of East London

On my way to work I found a bizarre little mound I'd never noticed before (I've passed there literally hundreds of times) from which you could see all across East London, including Canary Wharf in the distance. Time was about 0645.

I know I said I'd stop posting pictures of Canary Wharf at sunset ... so here's the London sunset seen from Canary Wharf. So technically I'm keeping my promise.
